In 2018, I landed on the cover of HOG® Magazine Canada with a multi-page feature that shouted out International Female Ride Day—an event I helped organize to bring together women riders from across the country. Let’s be real: seeing hundreds of badass women roll in on their bikes, engines roaring, was one of the coolest things I’ve ever been a part of.

Canada’s Biggest Gathering of Women on Bikes

This wasn’t your average ride. It was a movement. Women of all ages and riding styles—from choppers and cruisers to sport bikes—hit the road together, proving that the moto world is ours to claim. The energy? Electric. The vibe? Unstoppable.

Being featured in HOG® Magazine Canada gave us the spotlight we deserved. It wasn’t just about the ride—it was about breaking stereotypes and showing what happens when women come together to own their space in the motorcycle community.

Why This Ride Matters

International Female Ride Day is about way more than the bikes (though let’s be honest, the bikes are awesome). It’s about showing up, being seen, and building connections with other women who live for the road. This was Canada’s largest gathering of women on bikes, and it wasn’t just about numbers—it was about the noise we made, the bonds we built, and the message we sent: we’re here, and we’re taking over.

The HOG® Magazine Feature

The feature was pure fire. Page after page captured the power and beauty of the event, with photos of women owning the road and stories that showed just how much riding means to us. Whether you’ve been riding for years or are just starting out, this piece was all about celebrating what it means to be a woman in moto culture.
