Writing for HOG Magazine was an absolute thrill, especially when I got the chance to showcase my hometown, Vancouver, BC, through the lens of two wheels. The article, "24 Hours in Vancouver," captures what it’s like to explore this vibrant city by motorcycle, weaving through ocean views, lush forests, and urban jungles.

Rediscovering Vancouver

After moving away, coming back to write this piece felt like a reunion with an old friend. Vancouver isn’t just where I’m from—it’s a city that thrives on diversity, creativity, and a deep connection to nature. Riding through North Vancouver’s pine-covered roads and stopping for sushi on East Hastings reminded me why this place is so special.

The Ride

For the article, my friend Carle and I picked up a couple of Sportsters from Trev Deeley Harley-Davidson. From the winding roads of Deep Cove to the gritty streets of Gastown, we hit some of the city’s best spots—CRAB Park for skyline views, Lions MFG for some local moto vibes, and, of course, the incredible food scene that Vancouver is known for.

Why It Matters

This wasn’t just a ride; it was a love letter to Vancouver and its motorcycle culture. It’s a city where the mountains meet the ocean, where every road has a story, and where riders can find adventure year-round (if you don’t mind the rain).
